Origami has been a beloved pastime for members of my family. For me, it is an escape from my troubles. Each crease and fold melts away my troubles as I focus my attention on vreathing life into paper creations.

I made this piece, inspired by a simple question (what if origami came to life?). "Origami World" evokes the joyful effect that origami has on me while immersing the viewer into a universe where origami creatures are alive and the ordinary becomes extraordinary.
